UCTC facilitates training to educate displaced workers, non-skilled workers, veterans, those needing basic life and job skills, and English as a second language. Through its partnerships with organizations, academia institutions and apprenticeship programs, UCTC is able to provide educational classes and workshops to those looking to transition into a new career or profession.
What we do
UCTC believes that individuals have a right to high quality, specialized occupational programs that include the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to secure, maintain, and advance in personally satisfying and socially useful employment. UCTC also believes, that high quality, specialized programs are achieved through maintaining technically competent and professional personnel, current competency based curricula, up-to-date equipment, and structure that acknowledges individual differences and provides opportunities for individuals.
Our Services
UCTC is dedicated to providing adult education through quality customized industry workforce training, utilizing industry standards and emerging technologies. Our overarching goal is to assist individuals with their educational needs in order to increase their value in the marketplace as highly skilled labor by providing greater career opportunities with a view toward growth industries such as renewable energy.
To reach our objectives, UCTC actively partners with companies and organizations, such as Unified Veterans of America, NFL Retired Players Union, HCC Northeast Energy Institute, Talent Curve, Latino Labor Council and Communication Workers of America to name a few. Our partners share our vision of an educated, skilled workforce and support our efforts by providing their expertise and resources in critical areas. In addition, we utilize Social Media and technology to enhance our services and those of our clients and take them to the next level of communication and collaboration.
